Agreement for Contributions
Acceptance of any contribution, gift, or grant is at the discretion of Renew UK. Renew UK will only accept gifts that can be used or expended in alignment with our mission to support war-affected children in Ukraine.
No irrevocable gift, whether outright or involving income over time, will be accepted if it could reasonably jeopardise the donor's financial security.
Renew UK does not provide advice regarding the tax implications or other legal treatment of contributions and encourages donors to seek guidance from their own professional advisers when making a donation.
Renew UK accepts donations in the form of cash or publicly traded securities. In-kind service gifts may be accepted at our discretion.
Certain types of donations, such as real property, personal property, in-kind gifts, non-liquid securities, and restricted contributions, may require review before acceptance due to potential liabilities or special obligations they may create for Renew UK.
Renew UK will provide appropriate acknowledgment to donors in compliance with tax requirements for property gifts. However, except for cash and publicly traded securities, no specific value will be ascribed to any receipt or acknowledgment of a gift.
Renew UK will respect donors' intentions regarding the use of restricted gifts and will honor requests for anonymity. Information about anonymous donors will only be shared with staff members who need to know.
Renew UK does not compensate third parties through commissions, finders' fees, or other means for directing a gift or donor to the organization.
